While I was listening through tracks I thought I would also share some of them here on YouTube that I don't think I have shared here before. As they are much older (many that I am going through are 10-20 years old) they have lower sound quality and in the case of some of my tracks from about 20 years ago, they also have terrible direct authoritarian hypnosis telling the listener what to do and how they are feeling etc... Not something I've done in almost 20 years.
This self-hypnosis track is a Deep Trance Identification track to help the user develop skills. The idea is that you go into deep trance and have a sense of being someone who does the skill you want to develop, so if you wanted to learn to play piano for example, you would need to have at least some basic piano knowledge, and many examples of the person you want to do the deep trance identification as playing piano, you can't create a skill from nothing. So, say you wanted to play piano like Jools Holland, you would need to have watched hours of Jools Holland playing piano so that your brain has observed how he plays, how he sits, how he moves his hands and fingers etc. Ideally also watched many interviews with Jools to hear how he thinks about playing music, what kind of state of mind he is in at the time - what is going on internally for him.
Then when you do deep trance identification, you are identifying with what you know of him, so the more you know the better the job you can do of becoming that person and learning what it is like to be them and doing things as they do them.
This is like a deep mind version of mental rehearsal. This track is about 90 minutes long and very deep and was made over 10 years ago.
As part of this track I ask you to go back in time to be a child, the idea is to mimic the idea of learning that skill over many years from childhood when it was also easier to learn skills than it is as an adult. As such during this time I talk to you 'as if' you are a child so that what I am doing is congruent and this helps to deepen the experience.
